For all Small Items that can be delivered by One Driver
For items that we hold in stock, we offer a Free Delivery Service. Your order is scanned and details uploaded onto the FedEx website within minutes of ordering from our website. You are then able to track the progress of your order by using your consignment number as reference.
Your order will be delivered between 9am and 5.30pm. We are unable to specify a time, under our Free Next Day Delivery Service. If you do require a morning or afternoon delivery then this is available at a cost of £25 per item. Please do not ask us to leave your item unsigned for as our courier will not release your item from their possesion without obtaining a signature for receipt. If you wish to have a neighbour or friend sign for your item, please specify which address it is to be delivered to, and make sure that they will be available.
When your furniture arrives it is important that you inspect the item for any damage BEFORE signing for receipt of the goods. This is extremely important as although FedEx has one of the most successful delivery rates in the UK, accidents do occasionally happen. By signing the goods receipt you are accepting that the goods have arrived safely. Once you have inspected the delivery you will be asked to electronically sign for a receipt. If you are not happy with the condition of the goods you should inform the driver and refuse delivery. If you do not have time to fully inspect your furniture or the driver is not inclined to wait then you should sign for the goods as 'UNCHECKED'.
If you are not home, the courier will leave a card with a contact number of the nearest depot to arrange a more convenient time to deliver. You are allowed only one additional delivery free of charge, so please ensure you are in on the courier’s second visit! Alternatively you can arrange to collect the goods from the courier’s local depot, or give us details of an alternative address.
We do not deliver on Saturday as standard but this service is available at a charge of £25. Just select the option under the delivery section in checkout and leave the rest to us! There is an area within the delivery section for special delivery instructions, please feel free to use this section to let us know if you have special requirements.
We are able to deliver to the Scottish Western Isles, Northern Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands, but this will be subject to a surcharge. Please contact us at sales@yourfurniture.co.uk for confirmation of the cost. Each item will be subject to a delivey time that is indicated on the product page. Although we do try to fulfill the indicicated delivery times, there are some occasions when we may be unable to do this. Certain postcodes can have an effect on the delivery times as some areas are subject to longer lead times.
