Our large item delivery service operates on a Monday to
Friday basis. We are unable to offer a next day delivery
service on our larger items of furniture as these will be
delivered by a specialist furniture carrier, due to either
it's size or weight. Each item will be subject to a delivey
time that is indicated on the product page. Although we do
try to fulfill the indicicated delivery times, there are
some occasions when we may be unable to do this. Certain
remote postcodes can have an effect on the delivery times as
some areas are subject to longer lead times and could incur
a delivery supplement (a customer advisor will contact you
at point of order if this is applicable). Once we have
received your order we will arrange for your furniture to be
delivered to our national carrier. A member of their staff
will then contact you directly to organise a delivery day,
and they will also give a 2-3 hour time slot for your
convenience. If required the driver can also phone you one
hour before delivery.
When the furniture arrives it will be delivered to the room
of choice and unpacked, if required. Please ensure all
walkways are clear and the floor is covered if necessary
(drivers are unable to remove their safety footwear).
Assembly of a dining set is available for a small charge of
£35. You will be asked to check the furniture is acceptable
before signing for receipt. If the furniture is either
damaged or not suitable please inform the driver and the
furniture will be returned to Your Furniture under our
standard terms and conditions.
Failed Deliveries
At Your Furniture we offer a complimentary free delivery service for all first deliveries. If our customer agrees a delivery slot, with our delivery partner, and then are not at the address to take delivery we will have to charge a redelivery fee. The charge for redelivery is currently £49.50 + VAT for standard delivery or £79.50 + VAT for a standard delivery that includes assembly. Please note this increased cost represents the additional time allocated to the drivers to undertake the assembly.
If you have agreed a delivery slot and then find you are unable to meet this committment, you can avoid the redelivery fee by providing notice no later than 48 hours before delivery is due to take place.
